Present Day Keener Oil & Gas Company.

Today, Keener carries on the 90+ year tradition of the family’s involvement in the oil and gas business. In addition to an active exploration program for new reserves, Keener continues to evaluate and acquire operated producing properties.

The Bartlett family has, in the past, had company operations in Texas, Kansas, Wyoming, Colorado and Ohio. Present day operations are principally located in the Mid-Continent region of Oklahoma, with emphasis in Creek, Payne, Noble, Seminole, Hughes, Grant and Logan counties.

Generally, Keener focuses upon its past experience to define its exploration and acquisition activity. Oil and natural gas prospects that are found at depths less than 8,500 feet are within Keener’s experience parameter. The characteristics of multi-pay and multi-well are also necessary components. Keener’s exploration philosophy is to utilize consistent and sensible geology – not wildly speculative but based upon sound principles. Keener wants to be in a position to add significant hydrocarbon reserves without undue risk.
